Ice Fishing

There has been good reports for area ice fishing. Shagawa Lake has been reported as the best so far with as big as 27 inch walleye being caught. No word on the numbers as of yet. There are many shacks out and others going out today. Most of the houses are at Wind Sock Bay, Sandy POint and Stinky Ditch. The ice should be good on most area lakes except burntside which just froze over. Please use extream caution as no lake trals are staked and may not be deemed safe.
