The Forest Service flew a west patrol yesterday from Jackfish west and south to Birch and Vermilion Lakes. Everything was still frozen. Many lakes were still frozen right to the shoreline. Snow but Warmer
We are just about dug out of at least 14 inches of snow from two days ago. It was so close to being the rain we need to knock the ice out. There is a warmer forecast so we are still positive about opener. Next week will tell us a lot.
