Lottery for Permits
BWCAW permit lottery begins 12/16/14 if you are interested in motorized Bwca permits for the 2015 season. Call us if you have questions. Or go to http://www.recreation.gov/unifSearchResults . Permits do sell out for certain entry points for much of the season.
Ice fishing in full swing
There are many reports of great walleye fishing in the area. Mostly on Shagawa in the usual spots for early season. Ice depth is ranging from 5 or 6 inches to as much as 11 in bays that froze first. So much caution should be taken especially with heavier vehicles and near flowage areas.
