Corey was ice the ice shack on Shagawa this morning. Sent this awesome picture of breakfast. Fresh walleye. Yum. The bite has been slow but consistent. Mostly walleyes, some huge perch and a few decent northern. Trout starts next weekend, 1/14.
Most all area lakes are ok to fish, some are fine to drive light vehicles. Burtnside Lake may still be to thin for other than walking, maybe snowmobiles. Taylor caught this awesome 23 inch walleye this afternoon on Shagawa Lake. We also caught several other small walleye, a huge perch and a northern that we also kept.
